HABITAT:  Widely distributed with concentrations in Augusta, GA; Pebble Beach, CA; Hilton Head, NC; throughout Scotland, Japan and the Hawaiian Islands.

BEHAVIOR:  Steers clear of rough, brushy areas and sand traps; males often group in watering holes.
